We Are Committed To Helping Elect Pro Small Business Candidates

We are committed to helping elect pro-small business candidates to the U.S. Congress and state governments across the country. We educate the small business community about candidates, races and issues, and encourage them to make a difference and protect free enterprise at the ballot box.

What Can You Expect to See in the Midterm Elections?

The stunning victory of Senator Scott Brown in the January 19 special election in Massachusetts confirmed what we in politics have known for months: we’re in for a wild ride. We break down some of the key things to watch in the months leading up to November.

Endorsed Candidates

In order to support our mission and public policy objectives, we support candidates in both federal and state elections. Endorsements are based on each candidate’s positions and
record on small business issues.

We have an open and transparent endorsement process which is governed by three priorities:

  • Protecting incumbents who are proven allies of small business
  • Electing pro-small business candidates in open seats
  • Challenging anti-small business incumbents

Our staff conducts thorough research on candidates, campaigns, and the political environment to determine where the best opportunities exist to make a difference for small business. Due to limited resources, we may not be able to endorse every well intentioned candidate.
